Tony Mangan

Tony Mangan

World Jogger Tony Mangan arrived back in Ireland today having run around the world inĀ  under four years. He was greeted by his mother and family as well as many friends at Dublin Port having travelled from Holyhead on the Stena ferry.

Tony set off on his run after finishing the Dublin Marathon in 2010. After a celebratory jog around Ireland over the next six weeks, running between 30km and 52 km each day, he will end his journey on the finish line of the SSE Airtricity Dublin Marathon on Monday October 27. At that point, he will have run 50,000km exactly. He has no plans to run even a single kilometre more. For details of his route around Ireland, see www.theworldjog.com.
