Christie Comeback at Docklands; O’Hanlon Wins in Park

Mark Christie, who has taken a break from racing in recent months, broke the half hour on his winning comeback at the Docklands 10km. Christie’s time of 29.59 put him a minute clear of Bantry’s Alan O’Shea with Freddy Keron Sittuk a close third. Raheny’s Kate Cronin was first woman in 35.59. Rathfarnham’s Paul Stephenson and Aoife Talty of Raheny were the 5km winners. A total of 3,395 ran.

* Gary O’Hanlon stepped down the distances to win the Dublin Pride 5km in the Phoenix Park. Rachel Morgan of Sportsworld was first woman. In Drogheda, Clonliffe junior Aaron Hanlon won the Longest Day 5km.
