Even closer was the women’s race where  Mullingar’s Aine O’Reilly beat Caitriona Jennings of Rathfarnham  and Charlotte Kearney of Donadea with only ten seconds separating the three. Mullingar Harriers were out in force  and made it a team double,  with Kevin Baker third, Tom McGrath first M45 and Eddie Newman first M50.
