A nice Saturday here in Dublin – warm in the sun, and when driving. First job was at the BHAA race in Maynooth – the last cross-country of the season, Then after returning home, walked up to UCD for the 20th reunion of the karate club there. Took a few extra pics along the way using the new 24-85mm lens on my trusty Canon 350D.
Start of men’s race at Maynooth – clearly the chap in the middle had something urgent to say to his pal behind him.
Which part of the word “FOOTPATH” does this driver (and the one further up the road) not understand?A beautiful birch tree (albosinensis?) in Belfield.
Whose bike is this? What is sensei Tommy McGrane thinking here? Tommy is the doyen of Irish karate teachers – would you believe he’s 81. Some of the lads and lassies in the class were making very belated returns to the sport of their youth. The faces got redder and the dives for the water bottles more urgent as the hour passed. Tough sport. To the right of the class, these two lads and a friend were practising their wrestling (yes, that’s what it is).
