Roads: Fagan Wins Dunshaughlin 10km

Martin Fagan continued his comeback after a two-year doping ban with a comfortable victory at  the Dunshaughlin 10km last night. Fagan’s time of 30 mins 3 secs  saw him coming home 43 seconds ahead of Annadale’s Paddy Hamilton. Raheny’s David Rooney, home from the USA for the summer, was third, followed closely by Thomas Hayes of Kilkenny. First for the organising club was Robbie Matthews who finished fifth, while having a stormer to finish sixth and first over 40 was Rob Cross of Crusaders.
