Laura Reynolds has finished a disappointed 31st in the women’s 20km at the World World Athletics Championships in Moscow. Her time of 1 hrs 33 mins 39 secs in hot, humid conditions put her over six minutes behind the winner Eleana Lashmonova of Russia who finished in 1:27.08.
Clonliffe’s Brian Gregan is out of the World Championships iafter finishing 7th in his 400m semi-final. Gregan’s time of 45.96 was quicker than his time in the heats but he needed a top four placing to progress any further. Nigeria’s Yousef Masrahi set a national record to win Gregan’s semi-final in 44.61 seconds..
