Just a week remains until the third DSD Twilight Team Challenge 5km, which will take place around Sandyford Industrial Estate, Dublin on Thursday September 28 (7.30).
Entry costs €100 for a team of four, with many local business putting out not one but several teams and the mixed category already looking the most popular as it was last year. A traditional “tester” for the Dublin Marathon is the annual Cork to Cobh 15 Mile – one of the few point-to-point races on the calendar, won last year by Clonliffe’s Sergiu Ciobanu, who went on to win the national marathon title in Dublin a few weeks later.
This year’s race takes place on Sunday October 1 (9am) and is the perfect excuse for a weekend away in the real capital of Ireland! Race HQ on the day is Union Chandlery, Alfred Street. Online entry for just €15.89 is available at www.corkbhaa.com
