Airtricity to Sponsor Dublin Marathon

At last – the Dublin Marathon has a new sponsor!

After one year without any named sponsor, the Airtricity energy company will sponsor not only this year’s Dublin Marathon, but also the Dublin Marathon Race Series, which  starts with the Irish Runner 5-Mile this  coming Saturday  June 29 in the Phoenix Park (10am).

Last year, over 14,000 took part in the Dublin Marathon  – the flagship race of  distance running in this country – while 20,000 ran  in the race series.
