David Mulhare of Portlaoise CBS and Laura Tuite of Mercy Beaumont were the winners of the senior races at the DCU Invitational Cross-Country in St Clare’s. Closest finish of the day saw Hannah Byrne of Holy Faith Clontarf snatch victory from Alanna Cooley of Dominican College on the line in the girls’ inter race. Keeping an eye on everything and helping out on the finish line was twice European cross-country champion Fionnuala Britton, a DCU past pupil.
