Mary Cullen Runs 33.24 in NY Women’s 10k

Mary Cullen from Sligo finished eighth with a time of 33 mins 24 secs at the Oakley New York Mini 10km. Over thirty years ago, a precursor to this race – then called the L’eggs Women’s Mini Marathon- inspired the first  Dublin Women’s Mini Marathon.

Also running was Breege Connolly of North Belfast Harriers. She finished 32nd in 37 mins 18 secs. Race winner was Kenya’s Mary Keitany in 31:15.  Brianne Nelson of the USA was sixth in 33:21.
