Joe Gough Selected for Master’s 800m at World Indoors

John Gough of West Waterford is one of just eight athletes selected for a masters’ M60 800m which will take place at the World Indoor Championships in Portland Oregon from March 17-20. Gough, the world M60 champion, is the fastest in the field with a time of 2:15.90. Fastest of the others selected are Pierre Faucheur of France, Omar Clok from Uruguay and Marcel Scholten of the Netherlands. Also scheduled is a W55 800m.
