Cork City Sports: English edged out

Mark English finished third in a competitive 800m at last night’s Cork City Sports.  At 600m, English looked in control of the race but he then ran out of steam. Still, assuming he is not injured or ill, it was  useful blow-out for the UCD man before heading for the European Under 23s, starting tomorrow. Finishing fourh was American-based Declan Murra while in fifth place, Niall Tuohy ran a personal best 1:48.09.
