Ultra marathoner Eoin Keith ran a total of 814km at the Kaeser 6-Day, which ran from May 6-12 in Germany. It was a first six-day for Keith, who holds numerous Irish long distance records. Winning the race was the American Joe Fejes with 836km; Silke Gielen, a German in the over 55 age group, was first woman with 638km. There were 74 finishers.
The ultimate target for all six-day runners is 1,000 km.
