Season’s Greetings/Bonne annee!

At 6am this morning, we had the winter solstice – the shortest day of the year is behind us and the year is turned.
Time to celebrate, as men, women and children have done for thousands of years.
Time also to reflect – in the past few days, a much-loved friend of my brother has died “suddenly”, as they put it in the obituaries. This time of year can be tough.
We’ll be thinking of F over the next few days; and of you all.
