* Cragg was with the lead goup until 25km – they went through 5km in 15.05, 10km in 30.07, 15km in 45.05, 20km in 60.11, halfway in 63.29 and 25km in 1:15.11. Although on target for John Treacy’s 1988 record of 2 hrs 9 mins, he then dropped out. So did 120 others…
