See above for my house – free at last of its crutches! Waiting now for the final few jobs to be done – it could be a while. Painstakingly painting the MDF shelving in the office/music room. That will also take a while!

Hammering down rain earlier so house empty for the first time since August. External insulation done except for side; waiting for ESB to move box. The bottom two pics show the state of my front garden. Behind that heap of buckets is my favourite geranium. Collateral damage.Must get on with the painting!

At last – have running water again!Kitchen also taking shape (see above). Otehr pics show my new laundry in the garage and the view from the gate, dominated by the skip which is scavanged every night.

Horrible door between sitting and dining rooms gone…Radiators in kitchen and upstairs.
